Northern Utah's premier BJJ academy.
Mantra Brazilian Jiu Jitsu follows Pedro Sauer's Bazilian Jiu Jitsu lineage. Every class we are committed to providing our students with:
- Tough but technical training.
- An unmatched level of comradery.
- The drive to be better today than we were yesterday.
In 1925, Carlos Gracie opened the family's first BJJ academy bringing along his eight brothers; Oswaldo, Gastao Jr., George, Helena, Helio, Mary and Iika. Helio Gracie quickly became the standout among the brothers through his technical innovations within the sport eventually making him the president of the Federation. Over the years, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu has grown to a worldwide phenomenon with millions of students and practicioners. The Brazilian Jiu Jitsu story continues to be written by each white-belt who steps into a Jiu-Jitsu gym for the first time. Come join us today to seal your place in history.

- Treat everyone with respect, and the same will be done to you.
- Be friendly and introduce yourself to all new students.
- Everyone here is family, be careful and use control with your training partner. Don’t hurt your training partner.
- Be aware of your weight especially when training with smaller partners and women.
- Training time is not a tournament, exercise slower pace during training time.
- Check your attitude/ego when you walk through the door.
- Help new students with what you know. There is nothing to prove on the mats.
- If you (the student) or your child is sick, please stay home and rest. Training can wait until you’re healthy.

These bacterial & fungal infections are highly contagious and can quickly spread throughout the entire class. If you suspect you may have an infectious skin condition or are not sure, ask an instructor.
